A contemporary circus company, specializing in aerial and aerobatics, short forms, circus acts and full length shows.

Founded by Sandrine Duquesne (Belgium) and Mikaël Finkel (Israel) after graduating from the National Center for Arts of Circus (CNAC) in Châlons (France).

The company's main vision is about
developping  aerobatics as a mean of artistic expression.

We take advantage of the visual strength and the sincerity of aerial circus
to suggest stories and come to interfere with the public.

Using the dramatic dimension of our technique
and working on the spatial positioning of artists' bodies,
we formulate and ask questions.

Personal questions, human questions, questions about life...

Our first creation « Neige » (2004)
is a short form for two acrobats on two ropes
dedicated to the poetry of the lifting movement
on static rope and cloud swing.

This spectacle has been played 60 times during the

Kol Haolam Kirkas,

festival in Tel-Aviv (Israël).

As a further development, we investigated the meeting point between aerobatics and physical theatre.

We worked on characters and the writing of texts, which gave birth to our show Daydreaming in 2006.

This show was awarded the prize of « best acrobatic show » at the festival of Joué-les-Tours (France) in June, 2007
and has since been performed over 100 times in 10 different countries.

In 2009, the co-founders each started their own spectacle.

Sandrine Duquesne created Ventre,
outdoor aerial show with three acrobats, a cook
and a musician all together with the public in an encapsulated area.

Mikaël Finkel initiated two solos on static rope :

¨ Walk with I : contemporary circus show about love

Kirkas Gaya also offers various aerial interventions such as specific circus acts, spectacles to order,
shows on frontages and cliffs, performances on bungee cords, harness, ropes or any other air device.
